About Zikri
Zikri Jaafar is a Malaysian-born ESG advocate, sustainability strategist, and climate educator. He is the Head of Enterprise Learning at Terra.do, the world's largest platform for climate work.
In his former roles, Zikri led environmental stewardship efforts at an asset management firm with $6 billion in assets under management. He also advised clients on climate transition plans, deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains, and landscape stewardship. His clients included major private and public companies, including nonprofits such as Greenpeace, WWF, the Green Britain Foundation, the Woodland Trust, and Scotland's Rural College. Zikri also developed and authored high-profile reports for Greenpeace such as A Green Recovery (June 2020) and Unpacked (August 2020). Zikri's research on impact investing as part of a European Research Council-funded IMPACT HAU project was published in Sustainability.
Zikri holds an MSc in Economics for Development and an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from Oxford University. He also has a BA in International Studies and a BSc in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He was a recipient of the Rhodes Scholarship in 2018 and Bank Negara Malaysia’s Kijang Emas Scholarship in 2012.
